Centrϕide is the leading specialist in the design, implementation, maintenance and innovation of (recreational) route networks
Drawing on this expertise, we also provide specialist knowledge in the field of geo-information and support area development projects in which route networks and themed routes play a key role.
Centrϕide develops, manages, maintains and renews recreational infrastructure in the Netherlands.
We design routes, oversee their construction and maintenance, and manage all related communications. We know and show the way, literally and figuratively, through the complex structure of the walking, cycling, mountain biking, motoring, boating, and horse riding and carriage networks across the Netherlands.
In addition to our knowledge of the regional and local landscape, we are thoroughly familiar with the complex world of processes and regulations surrounding the development and implementation of route networks and associated facilities. This makes us an attractive and reliable partner capable of supporting clients across various sectors.

Centrϕide offers clients comprehensive solutions for a range of challenges. The most common issues we assist with are:
- Development of new route networks
- Establishment, further development and support of route agencies
- Revision of existing route networks
- Advice/co-creation in area development
- Support with zoning in nature and recreation area
- Management and maintenance of route networks
- Use of geoinformation for organisations and all kinds of projects
- Guidance on information for stewardship
- Development of thematic issues
We work from an integrated vision and approach. Route networks and associated facilities become more effective the more they are interconnected at all levels. The same applies to our services. These are most effective when multiple links are utilised, meshing together smoothly and securely. Centrϕide ensures this, like a spider in a highly complex web.
This begins with our consultant, who acts as a sparring partner from the design phase, and ends with the technical services staff member who attaches the sign to the post. In between, there are numerous colleagues, each making an indispensable contribution in their own field of expertise.

A route network in which Centrϕide is involved is always more than just a route network.
Centrϕide turns every path, every junction, every information point, every location and every other element along the route into an experience. We know the most beautiful spots in every area and enable visitors to experience them to the full, without compromising local natural or cultural values. In this way, every path becomes an adventure and every route network becomes an experience network.
In both the conceptual and implementation phases, we work closely not only with the client, but also with local institutions, businesses, farmers and residents. In this way, we ensure involvement, support and a boost to the local leisure economy.
In other words: promoting people’s physical activity and health, experiencing nature and culture, and strengthening the leisure economy go hand in hand for us.
Centrϕide makes an essential contribution to people’s physical activity and health, the experiential value of nature and culture, and the leisure economy

The Vechtdal Route (245 km) has been upgraded from LF16 to a cross-border cycle route. Centrϕide initiated the project, collaborated with partners and secured funding and clear signage.
Centrϕide assisted in improving the national Route Database. Through checks, technical support and process improvement, we ensure reliable and up-to-date route data.
Centrϕide developed the international route concept for the Hanseatic Cities Cycle Route: from story and design to information panels and collaboration. Heritage, landscape and identity combined into a single recognisable cycling experience.
