Centrϕide is the leading specialist in the design, implementation, maintenance and innovation of (recreational) route networks
Drawing on this expertise, we also provide specialist knowledge in the field of geo-information and support area development projects in which route networks and themed routes play a key role.
Route networks from A to Z
Centrϕide develops, manages, maintains and renews recreational infrastructure in the Netherlands.
We design routes, oversee their construction and maintenance, and manage all related communications. We know and show the way, literally and figuratively, through the complex structure of the walking, cycling, mountain biking, motoring, boating, and horse riding and carriage networks across the Netherlands.
In addition to our knowledge of the regional and local landscape, we are thoroughly familiar with the complex world of processes and regulations surrounding the development and implementation of route networks and associated facilities. This makes us an attractive and reliable partner capable of supporting clients across various sectors.

We work from an integrated vision and approach. Route networks and associated facilities become more effective the more they are interconnected at all levels. The same applies to our services. These are most effective when multiple links are utilised, meshing together smoothly and securely. Centrϕide ensures this, like a spider in a highly complex web.
This begins with our consultant, who acts as a sparring partner from the design phase, and ends with the technical services staff member who attaches the sign to the post. In between, there are numerous colleagues, each making an indispensable contribution in their own field of expertise.

Current projects
Vechtdal Route: redevelopment of a cross-border cycle route
The Vechtdal Route (245 km) has been upgraded from LF16 to a cross-border cycle route. Centrϕide initiated the project, collaborated with partners and secured funding and clear signage.
Behind the scenes at the National Route Database: Smart technology for better routes
Centrϕide assisted in improving the national Route Database. Through checks, technical support and process improvement, we ensure reliable and up-to-date route data.
Hanseatic Cities Cycle Route: an international experience on two wheels
Centrϕide developed the international route concept for the Hanseatic Cities Cycle Route: from story and design to information panels and collaboration. Heritage, landscape and identity combined into a single recognisable cycling experience.
